What effect does COVID-19 have on individuals? Are humans truly able to compartmentalize, where one separates life into different compartments to avoid dissonance and anxiety? Or do we bring our complete lives with us wherever we go, including our places of employment? The COVID-19 health pandemic has created a stressful context for workers and the colleagues with whom they work. How can leaders best support their associates during
this trying period? In this deeply introspective, pragmatic, and timely workshop, leaders will learn how COVID-19 has unevenly affected Americans, how to adapt leadership and coaching to the effects of the crisis, and how to reduce or manage the impact of COVID-19 on their associates. We will emphasize what leaders must do differently to be effective during this crisis.

This workshop, leaders will:

• Be sensitive to the inequitable effects COVID-19 has on their associates.
• Know how to respond to associates affected by COVID-19.
• Know how to create an organizational culture that supports associates affected by COVID19.
