DeLaune and Larson Promoted to Co-CEOs of SWBC Insurance Services

SWBC Insurance Services, a division of SWBC, is proud to announce the promotion of two employees – Shannon DeLaune and Joy Larson as Co-CEOs.

Larson has been promoted to Co-CEO of Operations. In this role, she is responsible for the policies and procedures and day-to-day activities of Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, and REO Coverage.  She also manages the wholesale division of Insurance Services, The Insurance Spectrum Online (an SWBC Company).
 
Larson joined SWBC in 2006 and has more than 30 years of comprehensive insurance industry experience.  Prior to SWBC, she worked for several national carriers in numerous positions, including commercial underwriter, broker, trainer, and sales and marketing executive. During this time, Larson worked closely with SWBC’s agency and formed a relationship that eventually brought her to work for the company. She holds her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. 
 
DeLaune has been promoted to Co-CEO of Sales and Business Development. In this role, he is responsible for planning, developing, and executing the objectives and programs for all marketing and sales activities.
 
DeLaune joined SWBC in 2012 with more than 20 years of successful experience in all aspects of business development and sales leadership. Before joining SWBC, he was the Sales Executive for the ADP Major Account Division in San Antonio. His previous experience was in banking, where he was responsible for starting Compass Bank’s college lending program in Texas, and he was also an officer at Frost Bank in San Antonio.
 
The expertise and demonstrated leadership skills that DeLaune and Larson have brought to SWBC over the last several years have made a positive impact on the division. Now, as Co-CEOs, the company looks forward to further leveraging their strengths.
