Goodwill Industries of San Antonio will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new store and donation station in Cibolo at 8:30 a. m. Wednesday, October 19 at 635 Cibolo Valley Drive, 78108.

To celebrate the opening, Goodwill will have four days of events that will include giveaways, savings and great shopping for a cause.  The following radio remotes have also been scheduled: KJXK Jack 102.7 FM (Adults Hits) from noon to 2 p.m. October 19 and KCYY Y100.3 FM (Country) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. October 22.

“We proudly invite the public to the grand opening of our newest store as we expand to the growing and vibrant city of Cibolo,” said Mark McKeever, Goodwill San Antonio chief operating officer. “We have added 22 new jobs in the Cibolo community with this store, and with every item purchased at or donated to Goodwill, you help fund educational programs and services that prepare people to find jobs and build careers right here in our local community.”

The Cibolo location, which marks the 21st store for Goodwill in San Antonio, will also have a convenient donation station where residents can easily drop-off donations of gently-used electronics, household items and clothing.  Hours of operation for the new store and donation station are:  9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
