Construction has begun on the new Short Term Public Parking and Consolidated Rental Car Facility at the San Antonio International Airport. The new facility, which will provide short term public parking on its first two levels, is located on the site of the 30-year old Hourly Parking Garage which necessitates the closure of the Hourly Garage. It will also house 13 rental car brands.

There are two main parking options: the Long Term Parking Garage and the expanded Green Lot. A third parking area, the Red Lot, will be opened when the other two begin to reach capacity. All three options have three shuttle service with convenient terminal curbside drop-off.

Some Tips
  • Check out the parking availability online at http://www.sanantonio.gov/SAT/Parking/parkingavailability.aspx before you leave so you can save some time and head for the Green or Red lot if the garage looks to be at capacity.
  • Keep an eye out on the message boards at the entrances to the airport on Airport Blvd and Northern Blvd.
  • Arrive early! You may need additional time to park and catch a shuttle.
