Daily Bread Ministries (DBM) is a faith-based resource center that was founded in 1996 by a former farmer and vending business owner, Seth Kuehn. During routine maintenance and restocking of his vending machines in hotels and event centers, Seth saw perfectly good food being thrown away and realized what that could mean for the hungry. From its humble beginnings with one van and a residential garage to a 163,000 square foot facility on the east side of San Antonio, DBM has seen tremendous growth over the last twenty years. Today DBM re-distributes over 6 million of pounds of food, among other resources, to faith based nonprofits around San Antonio.

With the organization’s incredible growth came the need for a strong core leadership team to carry DBM into the next phase of the ministry. Founder Seth Kuehn says in order to leave a lasting legacy, the organization would need to have someone who would come on board as an Executive Director and pick up the day-to-day roles he’s been covering for the past 20 years. While Mr. Kuehn is still very much involved in the organization, his focus is now sharing the vision of Daily Bread Ministries with the community and making lasting connections.

“One of the challenges for any nonprofit ministry is to find that next person that will fill in the gaps and take the ministry to a whole new level. A great concern to us was that there was a deep spiritual connection to the Lord Jesus Christ… and we found that. That’s an important component, because we believe everything about Daily Bread is going to be Christ-Centered. God brought to us a gentleman by the name of Craig Fuller,” says Kuehn on selecting a new Executive Director.

Craig Fuller, DBM’s new Executive Director, is a CPA who owned his own firm for many years, and comes with experience as a pastor and church planter. “I’m really glad to be here. I look forward to what God has in store for us. I really do believe it’s important to listen to God and hear his voice,” says Fuller of his new role.

DBM welcomes the public to tour the facility and see the new and exciting things happening at the organization.
