About the Company: Kevin Conner, RLA, PMP currently serves as Operations Manager for Jacobs North American Infrastructure (NAI) – Central Texas. In this role, Kevin oversees a staff of 160 technical professionals in San Antonio and Austin engaged in transportation, environmental, planning, water, and site civil services. He and his staff currently support public clients such as the Texas Department of Transportation on statewide planning, procurement, and design contracts; Alamo Regional Mobility Authority and Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority on major corridor schematic and environmental studies; and the San Antonio River Authority on large restoration and beautification projects along the San Antonio River. During his 16 years with Jacobs, Kevin has also led design groups and sales efforts for the Central Texas area.

About the Program: Committee volunteers explore legislative, political and civic issues; work with other businesses, community groups, chambers of commerce, and city, county and state agencies to solve problems; and develop recommendations to the Board of Directors on positions of endorsement or opposition regarding such issues. “Specifically, I am pleased with the North Chamber’s Inaugural Legislative Day this year where we were able to maximize our member’s personal contact with the Legislators of our districts to discuss current topics,” says Kevin. In addition, the Government Affairs sponsorship committee is responsible for planning and implementing the annual Mayor’s Vision for San Antonio and the State of the County Address.

Personally Speaking: Kevin serves on the North Chamber’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors as the Government Affairs Council Chair for the second year in a row. “I have received great value out of our engagement with the North San Antonio Chamber and Jacobs will continue our commitment to the North Chamber after my tenure and with others after me,” Kevin says.
